My Comments:  In this book we watch a baby grow to womanhood while her mother reminds her that she is a gift of God. I think it is one of those children's books that is really more for the grown-up reading it. The language is sophisticated for the picture-book age group.  I thought it was sweet and enjoyed reading it to my six year old; however when we were gathering books for the discard box, she added this one to the "give-away" stack.  I think the book would make a great Mother's Day gift for a new mom or a mom-to-be.
